FREE PARENTING WORKSHOP
This FREE six-week parenting program is suitable for parents with children 0-12 years of age.
Bringing Up Great Kids (BUGK) utilises a combination of mindfulness and reflection to support parents/carers of children as they review and modify their patterns of communication with their children. This program will also assist them to:
- Learn about children’s brain development and how it influences their feelings and behaviour
- Reflect on their own parenting style
- Recognise the importance of self-care and seeeking support when needed
Parents and carers will also get a chance to listen to guest speakers on the following topics:
- How to deal with picky eaters
- How to keep children safe at home, school and playgrounds
- How to keep children safe online.
When: Every Tuesdays (13/08/21 – 17/09/2024)
