Together We Are Better Leaders – Expressions of Interest Now Open

We are excited to announce that we are now seeking Expressions of Interest for the “Together We Are Better Leaders” project.

This project will bring together diverse influential CALD Muslim women from across Australia, to:

  • build alliances with each other  
  • discuss trends and challenges around social integration
  • explore intersectionality
  • develop strategies for Australian-Muslim womens’ leadership
  • explore the different aspects of leadership including cognitive, spiritual, emotional, and activism. 

If you have a level of reach amongst your local community or you would like to be part of this exciting program, complete the EOI form to apply. 

Applications close Wednesday 16th September 2020.

Participants will be involved in online sessions exploring the connection between leadership and voice in telling the narrative of Muslim women in Australia.

We, at Muslim Women Australia, acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional owners of the land on which we stand, and pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging. It is a reminder that we should strive for a world where diversity is celebrated, and the rights of all indigenous peoples are upheld.
