Balancing the scales requires honesty about the invisible labour many women carry. This includes caregiving, cultural navigation, emotional responsibility, and the burden of constantly proving belonging.

It also requires protecting difference instead of demanding assimilation.

True justice will not come from performative gestures or temporary campaigns. It will come from transformative change, where systems recognise the complexity of women’s lives and protect their dignity in every space they enter.

This International Women’s Day, may we move closer to a world where justice is not negotiated, but lived.
