SAYIT School Holiday Activities
Join MWA for a special school holiday program where you can explore your identity, creativity, and passion through inspiring workshops. From delving into the history of Palestine and crafting a personal mosaic to igniting curiosity in STEM and mastering henna art, each session is designed to empower and inspire young Muslim women.
Session 1: Mosaic of Me
Every piece of your life has a purpose, just like a mosaic. Join us for an interactive workshop where we will discuss the importance of being kind to yourself and how the parts of your life will all come together through self-compassion and trust in Allah SWT. Complete an activity of mosaic tile art that demonstrates patience and trusting in the process.
Date: Wednesday 9th July | 10am-12pm

Session 2: Talking about Palestine
Connect with other young Muslim women as we explore the history of Palestine and reflect on the power of faith, solidarity, and action. In a safe and supportive space, unpack your thoughts and emotions, and discover meaningful ways to stand with our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Session 3: Women In STEM
Curious about science, technology, engineering or maths? Join us for an inspiring session featuring a guest speaker, hands-on science activities, and real talk about how young Muslim women like you can lead, innovate, and shape the future

Session 4: Henna Workshop
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, join us for a hands-on workshop where you will learn all the skills you need to do henna for yourself and others. This program will teach you the techniques and basics of henna and includes your own henna starter pack.
